China origin / Air freight coordination
Air Freight from China
Airport-to-airport and door-delivery planning for batteries, battery-powered goods, urgent commercial cargo and selected oversized shipments.
We review the information you provide and coordinate the relevant supplier, warehouse, airport and carrier parties. Final acceptance depends on the cargo, condition, packing, documents, route, aircraft, carrier and destination requirements.

Cargo fit
Use air freight when timing matters — and the cargo can be accepted.
Air freight is often considered for urgent replenishment, higher-value products, samples and time-sensitive project cargo. Batteries and unusually large freight require earlier assessment because aircraft, loading position and carrier rules can narrow the options.
Urgent commercial cargo
For shipments where delivery planning is measured in days rather than ocean-freight weeks. Actual airport and door timing is confirmed against the selected service. For smaller eligible consignments where a courier network may fit, compare express shipping from China.
Batteries and powered goods
Standalone batteries, batteries packed with equipment and batteries contained in equipment can have different classification, packing and carrier requirements. Start with the battery shipping from China overview, then use the lithium battery shipping by air guide for air-specific preparation.
Oversized and special cargo
Large dimensions or concentrated weight can require a freighter, multiple pallet positions, special terminal handling or another departure airport.
From pickup to delivery scope
Build the service around the cargo and Incoterm.
The quotation can cover only the airport movement or a wider coordination scope. Destination services are checked against the importer, country and cargo requirements.
China pickup
Coordinate collection from the supplier or agreed warehouse and movement to the appropriate export facility.
Airport-to-airport
Plan the air movement between the agreed China departure airport and destination airport.
Export-customs coordination
Coordinate the commercial documents and export declaration process with the relevant parties.
Airport and carrier coordination
Confirm terminal delivery, capacity, loading conditions and carrier acceptance for the actual shipment.
Destination and door coordination
Assess destination handling and eligible door-to-door or DDP scope without promising universal import clearance or delivery acceptance.
Mode decision
Choose by urgency, cargo profile and the total plan.
The lower headline rate is not always the best total plan. BAT Logistics compares the shipment facts before recommending a mode.
Both modes require a shipment-specific check. No fixed transit time or universal acceptance is promised.
Pricing basis
Air freight is priced on the space or weight used.
Airlines generally compare gross weight with volumetric weight and use the higher figure as chargeable weight.
The divisor and final chargeable weight must be confirmed for the carrier, service and packing configuration.
- Cargo classificationGeneral, battery, special and oversized cargo can have different handling and acceptance costs.
- Route and capacityDeparture airport, destination, aircraft and available space affect the plan. For country-level planning, review the USA route guide and UK route guide.
- Packing and dimensionsExternal size and weight determine the space and equipment required.
- Season and surchargesCapacity, fuel, security and terminal charges can change over time.
- Service scopePickup, airport handling and destination delivery change the total quotation.
Start with what you know
Send the cargo facts before we approach the carrier.
Available product and packing information helps us identify a plausible aircraft and route before requesting capacity.
Clear service boundary: BAT Logistics reviews customer-supplied information and coordinates suppliers, warehouses, airports, customs-service parties and carriers. We do not issue or obtain UN38.3 or MSDS/SDS documents, and we do not guarantee carrier or regulatory acceptance.
- Cargo identificationProduct name, use, composition and HS code if known.
- Battery details where applicableBattery chemistry, configuration, watt-hour rating, condition and UN number if known.
- Customer-supplied documentsProduct specification, UN38.3 information and MSDS/SDS when available.
- Packing informationPacking type, photos, pieces, gross weight and external dimensions.
- Route and timingPickup city, destination, Incoterm and cargo-ready date.
How planning works
Five steps from enquiry to a workable air plan.
Share cargo and route details
Send the product, origin, destination, pieces, weight, dimensions and required timing.
Check supplied information
We identify details needed for routing or carrier review.
Check capacity and conditions
Airport, aircraft, terminal and carrier conditions are assessed.
Confirm scope and booking
The quotation reflects the agreed pickup, export, air and destination scope.
Coordinate milestones
After confirmation, we coordinate agreed handoffs and shipment updates.

Shenzhen Bao’an → Guangzhou → Taiwan Taoyuan Airport
One CNC machine. Two aircraft pallet positions.
An anonymous customer needed one oversized CNC machine moved to Taiwan within a specified schedule. The machine contained no battery, so this example demonstrates oversized general-cargo planning rather than battery handling.
The constraint
The 2550 mm width and overall footprint could not be treated as routine loose cargo. The airline needed to review an arrangement using two air-cargo pallet positions.
What BAT Logistics coordinated
Pickup from Bao’an; packing review and coordination for the customer to prepare a wooden case; two pallet positions; export declaration; direct truck delivery into the Guangzhou airport cargo terminal; and on-site discussion with airport personnel about pallet build-up and aircraft loading.
Outcome
The direct flight was arranged to the customer’s required timing. After arrival, the customer completed import clearance and collected the machine.
This result describes one completed shipment. Future oversized bookings still depend on the actual cargo, packing, aircraft, route and airline approval.
Quote-ready checklist
A useful quote starts with complete package details.
Put these details in the Quote Request field. Mention available documents and our team can advise how to share them.

Frequently asked questions
Practical answers before you request a quote.
What is air freight from China?
Air freight moves commercial cargo from a China airport to an overseas airport using passenger-aircraft belly capacity or a dedicated freighter. The workable option depends on route, dimensions, weight, cargo type, timing and carrier acceptance.
Can batteries and battery-powered products be shipped by air?
Some can, but not every battery or route is accepted. Classification, configuration, condition, state of charge where applicable, packing, documents, aircraft and carrier rules all affect the decision.
Can BAT Logistics issue UN38.3 or MSDS/SDS documents?
No. We review information supplied by the customer and coordinate the relevant operating parties. We do not issue or obtain these documents and do not guarantee carrier or regulatory approval.
How is air-freight chargeable weight calculated?
Airlines generally charge the higher of gross weight and volumetric weight. A common planning formula is length × width × height in centimetres divided by 6000, but the applicable rule must be confirmed for the carrier and service.
Can oversized cargo move by air?
Sometimes. Cargo dimensions, weight distribution, aircraft door size, contour, loading equipment and available pallet positions must be checked. A freighter or multiple pallet positions may be required.
Can you coordinate airport-to-airport and door delivery?
Yes. We can assess China pickup, export-customs coordination, airport-to-airport movement, destination handling and eligible door-to-door or DDP coordination. Final scope depends on the shipment and destination arrangements.
What should I send for an initial quote?
Send the product name, pickup point, destination, pieces, packing, weight, dimensions and cargo-ready date. For battery cargo, include the battery configuration and customer-supplied product specification, UN38.3 information and MSDS/SDS available.
